monday-things that please me
my tomato plant has flowers!
some of you may recall my first ill-fated tomato plant that died while i was on wedding tour 2006. well, the new one is huge. we have to support it with chopsticks. here is the plant with the horrible cat to give it some perspective:

Don't you worry sometimes that it's going to make her into one of its podlings? Maybe she already has an unhealthy attachement to it...
i think you're supposed to have tomatos by now
probably - but the poor thing wasn't planted until july, so we're a bit behind.
