tuesday-things that displease me

• the construction next to my office: as if having them throw enormous pieces of duct work three stories down into a waiting garbage pile wasn't enough, now they have an ancient generator which they insist on keeping outside, so i can slowly loose my grasp on sanity as it revs at sporadic intervals.
• tim wakefield--though i know that he is nix's favorite.
• this weather pattern of only sunny on workdays that we've had going for a while.
