I know there are several general reasons why Imus might be displeasing, but can you fill in the details for those of us who are so completely out of the loop?
Not to disagree with the Don Imus part, but the Janet Jackson part: as I recall, she didn't "inadvertently" flash anything. That was choreographed. And I was amazed and disgusted that nobody in the media ever focused on why exactly it was somehow OK for Justin Timberlake to even fake ripping her clothes off in that situation. His part in it was never really questioned. -- LS
it was my impression that the whole top wasn't supposed to come off, but either way, bare breast does not equal harmful to me.
mainly i've been thinking about that because of the enormous fines demanded by the fcc for that, and from howard stern for swearing, but not a peep about this. if the rationale is that swearing is harmful to children, than isn't this 10 times worse?
