when we were in florida, we saw venus (which i have already endorsed here because of my undying love for peter o'toole) at the tampa theatre. now nix's dad does not live in tampa, so i was a bit reticent to drive all that way for a movie (even one that starred lawrence of arabia), but nix told me it would be worth it. and right nix was.before the show, a mighty wurlitzer appeared from the stage floor, and let me tell you that the chandelier falling in the phantom of the opera (not that i endorse the phantom of the opera, mind) did not excite me like this thing. i felt like a kid at christmas!
