i guess the obvious one is that the democrats have taken back the house and the senate, though to be honest, i'm a bit conflicted about party politics. i refuse to be excited that a former reagan cabinet member who authored an article titled "women can't fight," and who cites his favorite presidents as jackson and reagan won, and a man who supports gay-marriage, stem cell research, has a great environmental record and voted against the war even when kerry and clinton were jumping on the bandwagon, lost.
i guess, barring that, i'll say that really good coffee pleases me.

as far as webb, the 'real' dem lost in the primary. I figured we were doomed then.
and i watched a movie the other night and a charachter kept lists of things, my favorite being 'things that quicken the heart.' might be a fun new day.
